I saw a man in black

with a skin

pale as the moon

and when

he took off his hat

I saw no hair

just a bald head

and a bizarre glare

can I help you?

I asked

as he placed

his finger

on my lips

to silence me

and with that

he took my voice

and I watched him

leave

without

a scream
