A murderous man
sees a silver lining
glorious and bright
and
radiating with shine
a precious metal
in his precious hand
he holds it tight
absorbs the silver light
as it turns bloody red
against his precious hand
the way it glimmers
the way it grins
as it pierces the skin
it’s his silver lining
it’s his silver blade
Brilliant!

Thanks. I miss writing these deeper poems. I don’t always have enough time to write them. π

Well, if you’d really like to, you can post thrice a week instead of everyday, I suppose. But it’s your choice π
