Don’t Play Dead

I once played dead

so that no one

could bother me

so that no one

would talk to me

I took a walk

to the town

and took a rest

on the streets

I watched the

sky and the sun

as it all seemed

really fun

then I smiled

at the car that came

because

playing dead

was no longer

just a game
