The darkest side of the moon
is home to the most reserved creatures
and silent critters
who never speak to the stars
never set foot on Mars
recluse and shy
hiding from the sun’s eye
friendly they are not
for whatever crosses their path
is bound to rot
but when I landed here
and walked on the edge
of this moon
and slipped like a big buffoon
It really was no accident
