Broken Heart

don’t know how to mend a broken heart

don’t know how to speak to someone whose heart’s been broken

all you can do is offer the help those suffered may need

they may refuse it but keep insisting for their heart to be freed

give them comfort

offer them laughs

but when they push you away

don’t leave just yet

give them your smile

offer them you heart

and if the ones with broken hearts

break your very own heart

give them a second chance

but if they take it again

and break it some more

there are only a couple things left to do

break their leg

break their spine

break their neck

break their  skull

for their heart’s already been broken

and you want to break some more
