Ocean

Beautiful waves splash

and expand until they reach my pink toe nails

I usually hate the smell of fish

but not when I am at the beach

I wish I could live here forever

The waves sing and dance

calming my

eyes

ears

hands

feet

Tranquility enters my body

The ocean air kisses my lips

Let me just lie here on the shore

I couldn’t have asked for more

I dance in the water

Sing in the water

I hear the ocean calling for me

Deeper and deeper I tiptoe

I think I hear a parade down there

Wait, that must be a flute

What a sweet, sweet flute

Wait for me I can play too

So I go

deeper and deeper

into the ocean

searching for the sea’s orchestra

and then

it’s dead quiet
